Most wigs can last up to a 8-12 months with everyday wear and proper maintenance. Lace fronts has last up to 3years with proper care and maintenance. The most durable lace is the French lace, which last longer than the Swiss lace, which is thinner, and finer.

If there is lace or thin skin at the nape of the neck, yes you can wear a full lace wig in a high ponytail. If there are adjustable tabs at the nape of the neck, you can wear in a low ponytail or updo. The descriptions for all of our in-stock wigs specify if the wig can be worn in a high ponytail. If you order a custom wig, you can select this option. As a default, all our stock lace wigs can be worn in a full ponytail.

Bleached knots help make the hair appear as if it is growing from the scalp. When hair is tied to the lace, there is a dark knot where the hair is secured. Bleaching or "lightening" the knots reduces the visibility of this knot. On black, off black and dark brown hair, the knots are lightened to a light brown shade.
